This makes his fights incredibly creative and a wonder to behold, while simultaneously telling us almost nothing about what Kurama can and cannot do. This can result in Kurama being rather binary. Every fight boils down to "He has a plant for that." It's honestly difficult to gauge how strong Kurama is relative to the other three because Kurama's fights aren't really about power levels and arm-wrestling at all. What's interesting about Yu Yu Hakusho by comparison to other battle shonen is that the four main protagonists don't just have different fight styles they have different fights.
